ARTIST

Sudeep Das is an artist based in San Francisco.

 

Sudeep grew up in Kolkata, India, and while his art often depicts scenes from his childhood in urban India, many of his abstract creations capture the light,  the colors,  and the feel of his neighborhood, Bernal Heights, the city of San Francisco, and surrounding California landscapes, as well as moments from his extensive travels. 

Sudeep was trained in classical fine art and earned his Visharad (equivalent of Bachelor's in Arts) degree from the esteemed Indian institution,  Pracheen Kala Kendra.
